Hunkapi is always looking for volunteers for our programs!  We offer rewarding opportunities to volunteer your time and help others so please let us know what area interests you and contact Cassandra at cassandra@hunkapi.org.  Below are examples of some of the areas we need volunteers:

Volunteer Opportunities

Horse Care Giver: Responsible for Grooming, Feeding, and Stall Maintenance

Horse Handler: Responsible for side walking and/or leading horse for clients

Instructor Assistant: Assists instructor with lessons

Barn Technician: Manages Property Upkeep and Tack Maintenance

Special Events and Fundraising Assistant: Helps plan and execute fundraising events, contacts clubs and organizations interested in offering financial assistance, helps raise donations for special events and barn items

Office Assistant: Assists with office paperwork, lesson scheduling, volunteer coordinating, and web design

Grant Writing Assistant: Works to identify foundations or grants with potential for donating to Hunkapi and assists in writing grants
